Maximize Downtime at your Business Function with iPad Hire

Pocket Lint has given the App of the Day recognition to none other than GQ Magazine UK for its latest iPad application.

Are you a fan of the men’s lifestyle magazine?  If you’re already a subscriber, you can get this application for free.  Why not enjoy yourself during that downtime at your meeting, business conference or event? With your iPad rental from Hamilton Rentals or its U.S. affiliate, Vernon Computer Source, you can flip through the glossy pages of the magazine on your brilliant resolution of your tablet.

Pay an additional £2.60 and you’ll gain access to the July edition featuring an interview with American comedian Jerry Seinfeld, as well as “a guide to surviving the summer in style along with exclusive iPad video, audio and photography content.”

Publisher Conde Nast is working on an agreement with Apple and Adobe to hammer out the details when users can expect to see the magazine follow the iPad subscription model on which its U.S. counterpart operates.

This isn’t Conde Nast’s first swing at iPad apps.  In fact, the publishing company has gone so far as to develop business-friendly applications for the general user with its latest presentation application, IdeaFlight.  This app allows for one iPad user to operate as the “pilot” who can show a presentation on up to 15 “passenger” iPads that follow along via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

If your business is looking into an iPad hire, be sure to contact us at Hamilton Rentals.  We have the latest iPad 2s on our shelves ready for you to rent for your next exhibition, or any business endeavor where you can apply the latest tablet technology.
